His role at NYSDOT allowed him to play a pivotal part in numerous high-profile projects, showcasing his ability to manage complex engineering challenges and deliver impactful solutions. Following his time at NYSDOT, he served with the New York State Department of State (NYS DOS) for two years. During this period, he was instrumental in the development and implementation of the 2020 Building Code updates for the New York State Uniform Code, demonstrating their commitment to advancing building safety and regulatory standards. Since 2020, Mr. Hinderliter has held the position of City Engineer for the City of Oswego. In this role, he oversees the planning, design, and execution of municipal infrastructure projects, ensuring the city’s engineering needs are met with efficiency and innovation. His leadership has been crucial in driving the city’s growth and enhancing its infrastructure resilience. In addition, Mr. Hinderliter joined the NYS Variance Review board in Syracuse in 2022, lending his expertise in the evaluation of variances to the Uniform Code.     Mr. Chambers is a State of Iowa Electrical Examining Board Approved Instructor and a licensed Class A master electrician with more than 48 years of experience in all areas of the trade. Teaching is one of his greatest passions and he loves passing on knowledge and skills to others. Mr. Chambers taught electrical apprentices for the Associated Builders and Contractors of Iowa for 30 years. He currently teaches classes on the National Electrical Code Update, license exam preparation, grounding and bonding, electrical theory, electric motors, transformers, motor controls, health care facilities wiring, troubleshooting, residential wiring, commercial and industrial wiring, agricultural wiring, ampacity calculations, conduit and box sizing calculations, voltage drop calculations, commercial service calculations, overcurrent protection, the NEC for PV installers, swimming pool wiring, and arc flash safety. Mr. Chambers has taught classes for seven Iowa community colleges, many Iowa industries, the University of Iowa, UI Hospitals and Clinics, the VA Medical Center, and private classes for electrical contractors. He is also a past president and past membership chair of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, Iowa Chapter. On an unrelated note, Mr. Chambers is a two-time inductee into the Iowa Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame.

He is an accomplished building inspector and plans examiner, with 20 years of experience in public and non-profit code enforcement and inspections. Mr. McWhite has served as an inspector and plans examiner in Massachusetts, Georgia, Virginia, and Indiana. He has served on the Massachusetts Construction Supervisor Licensing exam rewriting committee to help transition the exam from the 2009 to the 2015 International Codes, as a member of the International Code Council’s IPMC/IZC Code Development Committee, and as member of the ICC Building Membership Council and most recently BCAC. Mr. McWhite also currently serves as an ICC Governmental voting member representing Region 6.
