Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.
Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. Continuing Education Credit Information
Each webinar offers 4.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 4.0 HSW continuing education hours to architects licensed in all states.
HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida (Provider No. 0004647), Indiana (License No. CE21700059), Maryland, New Jersey (Approval No. 24GP00000700) and North Carolina (S-0130). Completion certificates will be awarded to participants who complete an event, respond to prompts and earn a passing score (80%) on the quiz that follows the presentation (multiple attempts allowed).

Joseph Iliff has been a building official, building inspector, and city planner for more than 25 years, serving cities in Indiana, Texas, Missouri, and Illinois. He earned an undergraduate degree in urban planning and development from Ball State University. He holds certifications as a residential building inspector, building official, city planner, and floodplain manager. He has taught classes on the residential, building, and property maintenance codes with a focus on preparing students for certification exams and effective administration.

Learners will be able to reference and comply with 2021 IRC provisions for joist and beam spans, wood floor framing, header size, brace wall design, truss design, and roof framing and sheathing.
