This course is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.5 CPD credits for professional engineers in Ohio and 6.5 HSW hours for licensed architects in Ohio. The Ohio Board of Engineers and Surveyors does not pre-approve course providers or courses.
The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System has approved this course for 6.5 HSW LUs (Sponsor No. J885). Only full participation is reportable to the AIA/CES.
The International Code Council has approved this event for .65 CEUs in the specialty area of Administration (Preferred Provider No. 1232).
HalfMoon Education is an approved CM Provider with the American Planning Association. This course is registered for CM | 6.5 for Certified Planners.

Daniel Frondorf, CPE, CDT
DG Frondorf and Associates LLC, CincinnatiMr. Frondorf owns and operates Cincinnati-based DG Frondorf and Associates LLC, a construction cost estimating consulting firm. He is a member of Consulting Estimator’s Round Table (CERT), AACE, and the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE). He has 25 years of service as a construction estimator, and has presented several seminars on estimating practices and ethical bidding topics to trade associations and at industry events. Mr. Frondorf is also a past instructor of construction estimating at the University of Cincinnati and has guest lectured there and at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. He has also written several articles on estimating related topics in Estimating Today and Design Cost Data magazines.

Mark D. Jones, P.E.
Principal, Hartech Engineering & Consulting, LLC, in Mechanicsburg, PAMr. Jones, P.E., is president of Hartech Engineering, which was founded in 2007 as a multi-discipline civil engineering consulting firm providing infrastructure, development, and municipal design services for the public and private sectors. Bringing over 30 years of engineering expertise along with specific state-of-the-art, computer-aided technology to achieve efficient, cost saving design solutions, he also provides hydrology and hydraulic studies and reports along with general civil engineering support for prime consultants to PennDOT or local municipality projects. Mr. Jones is a licensed pilot and studied Military Civil Engineering while serving in the U.S. Air Force and continues his master’s education locally through Penn State. He is also a registered professional engineer in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Arizona, and Georgia.
