Mr. Willis is a tax lawyer, freelance writer, and consultant and advisor to lawyers, on issues related to wealth transfers. He has written numerous articles for publications serving tax and charitable gift planning professionals, and he is a frequent conference and seminar speaker throughout the country.
Three years ago, he launched a newsletter, the Jack Straw Fortnightly, analyzing current developments in the law – both tax and nontax – concerning the transfer of private wealth in this country.
Mr. Willis chaired the Steering Committee of the Probate and Trust Law Section of his local bar association and served on a legislative drafting subcommittee for the Probate and Trust Law Committee of the State Bar. He has also written numerous articles for law journals and publications.
Mr. Willis has a law degree from St. Louis University and a master’s degree in Taxation Law from Washington University in St. Louis. His undergraduate degree in English Literature is from Indiana University, Bloomington, and he has a master’s degree in English from the University of Chicago.

Director of Building Safety for Marion County, FloridaMr. Savage has been in the inspection field for more than 25 years. He has been a plans examiner, a combination inspector, a chief inspector and chief building official. Mr. Savage has completed plan reviews and inspections on all types of structures from single-family dwellings, decks and sheds to micro-breweries and manufacturing/industrial facilities. He currently serves as the director of building safety/building official for Marion County, Florida. Mr. Savage holds 42 International Code Council certifications, including master code professional and certified building official. In addition, he is a NFPA-certified fire protection specialist (CFPS) and IAEI certified electrical inspector – master. He is also licensed as a building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical inspector in the State of Maryland, and he is a qualified electrical inspector in the State of Delaware. Mr. Savage is also licensed as a building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical inspector in the State of New Mexico. He is actively involved in the code making processes and holds committee memberships on such bodies as NFPA, IAEI and UL, and he is a member of the International Code Council (ICC) Board of Directors. Mr. Savage’s past positions include the following: president of the Central New Mexico Chapter of Building Officials, president of the IAEI NM Chapter, ICC Region XI Development Committee and past president and Executive Council member of Region XI. Mr. Savage was appointed to the ICC-Evaluation Services Board of Managers in 2015, the ICC Compliance Code Action Committee (CCAC) and the ICC Code Correlation Committee (CCC). He has taught, and implemented, special inspections programs throughout the country resulting in safer, code-compliant buildings.

During his course of study at Ohio Northern University, Mr. Dutton was a member of the editorial staff of the Ohio Northern University Law Review. He was also a justice on the law school’s Moot Court Executive Board, and was the justice in charge of the First Year Appellate Advocacy Program. While in law school Mr. Dutton also participated in four national moot court competitions. Because of his moot court experience, he was selected to the Order of Barristers for having exhibited excellence and obtained high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy. For his outstanding academic achievement in law school, Mr. Dutton was selected to Who’s Who Among American Law Students. Prior to law school, Mr. Dutton worked for Miami-Dade County as a lifeguard lieutenant, and later was employed with the Miami Beach Fire Department and City of Deerfield Beach Fire Department as a firefighter paramedic. He was also on the City of Miami Beach SWAT team. For Mr. Dutton’s dedication to fighting insurance fraud he was honored by the Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee (“FIFEC”) which awarded him the Jerry Zappalo Distinguished Service Award in 2012. FIFEC is a non-profit corporation comprised of the Department of Insurance Fraud (DIF), special investigative unit (SIU) departments and investigators, law enforcement personnel and dedicated individuals whose purpose is deterring, detecting, investigating and prosecuting insurance fraud. Mr. Dutton’s is an AV preeminent rated attorney in The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, the highest rating available. He is listed as one of Florida’s top lawyers in 2006, 2008 – 2009, 2014 – 2018 in Super Lawyers under Civil Litigation Defense and as one of Tampa’s, Orlando’s, Miami’s and Florida’s “Top Rated Lawyers.”

Currently, Mr. Lazega is an AV- rated insurance litigation attorney who heads a 14-attorney practice with offices in Miami, Winter Park, Dania Beach, and Tampa, representing insurance consumers and medical service providers in pursuit of payment of reduced or unpaid insurance claims. Additionally, he is general counsel to a leading auto insurer, The Responsive Auto Insurance Company. Mr. Lazega has written and co-authored several of Thomson Reuters’ (formerly West Publishing) leading treatises on Florida insurance law including Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law & Practices and Florida Insurance Law & Practice. He is a member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S.D.C. for the Middle District of Florida and the general and trial bars for the U.S.D.C. for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Vaccaro has been involved with PIP litigation since 1988. Over the years he has defended thousands of automobile accident cases involving PIP, bodily injury and bad faith claims for numerous insurance companies.
