Description

A new client arrives with a shoebox of bank statements and a story that shifts by the hour. A spouse swears there are no other accounts. A mediation that should have wrapped up by lunch is still going at dinnertime.

In Florida family law, the details decide the outcome. A missed conflict, an overlooked asset, or a loosely drafted agreement can cost a client their home, their savings, or time with their children.

This is the work of the family law practice team.

It’s part detective work, part negotiation, and part careful counsel. Skip a step at intake, miss a hidden asset, or cross an ethical line with a pro se spouse, and the damage follows the client, the case, and the firm long after the final judgment.

So if you’ve ever wondered how seasoned practitioners move a case from the first phone call to a signed settlement agreement, without losing sight of the numbers, the people, or the rules, this training is for you.

Join a panel of six Florida family law practitioners, including two Board Certified Specialists in Marital and Family Law and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator, as they walk you through every stage of a family law matter: intake, financial discovery, agreements, mediation, the latest case law, and the ethics of dealing with unrepresented parties.

You’ll leave with a practical roadmap for opening and building a family law file, proven methods for uncovering and evaluating financial information, sharper strategies for mediation and settlement, a current look at Florida developments, and the clarity to handle pro se parties without compromising your ethical obligations.

Don’t wait for a missed asset or a bar complaint to teach you these lessons the hard way.
