All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Continuing Education Credit Information
This webinar is open to the public and offers 7.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 7.0 HSW continuing education hours to architects in most states, including Wisconsin. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Wisconsin.
Engineers and architects seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to claim the hours earned at this course, in most cases. Refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.
The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System has approved this course for 7.0 LU|HSW (Sponsor No. J885). Only full participation is reportable to the AIA/CES.
The International Code Council has approved this event for .70 CEUs in the specialty area of Building (Preferred Provider No. 1232).
Completion certificates will be awarded to participants who complete this event, respond to prompts and earn a passing score (80%) on the quiz that follows the presentation (multiple attempts allowed).

Edward Lisinski PE MP CBO
Director, Building Inspection at City of West Allis
Mr. Lisinski is an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. He is skilled in public administration, building code analysis and writing, building inspections, and plan review. Mr. Lisinski earned his bachelor’s degree focused in Architectural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. He serves on many national, state and local building code and building official committees. Mr. Lisinski is a State of Wisconsin certified UDC Building Inspector.

Course Description: This course examines Wisconsin’s hybrid residential building code, the Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC). Topics include the development and enforcement of the Uniform Dwelling Code in Wisconsin, and requirements for building planning and shell construction, energy efficiency, and mechanical, fuel, plumbing and electrical systems.
Learning Objectives:
Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to explain how the Uniform Dwelling Code is enforced in Wisconsin, describe its relationship to the International Residential Code, and identify recent and anticipated code amendments.
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to identify design criteria and alternative provisions for compliance with UDC requirements for building planning and shell construction.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to comply with UDC energy efficiency requirements related to the thermal envelope, insulation and fenestration, lighting and building systems.
Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to identify and comply with UDC requirements for residential mechanical, fuel, plumbing and electrical systems.
