Webinar Instructions
Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for
individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may
not watch together on the same device if they wish to earn continuing education
credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the
attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion will be available for download and printing upon
completion of a follow-up quiz with at least 80% accuracy (multiple attempts
allowed).

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that
can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information
will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly
recommended that you download, install and test the application before the
webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

Speakers

Paul W. Lander

Paul W. Lander, PhD, MLarch, LEED A.P., has over 35 years of conservation experience, in land, energy, and water, including directing the City of Boulder’s award-winning water conservation program for 16 years. Since 2006, he has taught courses on urban water systems, green infrastructure, western water resources, and world water resources, at the college and professional level. He is an Associate Professor Adjunct in Geography, and Faculty of the professionally-oriented Masters of the Environment Program, both at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is an accredited LEED professional, holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington, and a PhD in Geography from the University of Colorado. He has been an active professional, through the American Water Resources Association, American Water Works Association, Universities Council on Water Resources, Alliance for Water Efficiency, USGBC, Lane Community College, OR, and was Chair of the Water Conservation PPN of the American Society of Landscape Architects. He has offered professional trainings and webinars through the University of Florida, University of Colorado, AWWA, ASLA, and Forester University.

The streamable self-study package includes an MP4 format video recording of a live webinar and a PDF of the manual that was distributed for the webinar. You will receive a PDF of the course manual. The manual contains written materials prepared by the seminar speaker(s).

Completion of an online follow-up quiz is required for those seeking continuing education credit. The acceptance of self-administered continuing education activities vary widely between states and professions. Before undertaking any self-study effort, you should review the rules of your licensing/certifying entity.
