Continuing Education Credit Information
This seminar is open to the public and offers 7.0 PDHs to professional engineers and 7.0 HSW continuing education hours to architects licensed in Idaho. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Idaho.
This program also offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity to Idaho landscape architects and contractors. The Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System has approved this course for 7.0 HSW PDHs. Only full attendance is reportable to the LA/CES.
The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System has approved this seminar for 7.0 LU|HSW (Sponsor No. J885). Visit www.halfmoonseminars.org for complete AIA/CES information under this seminar listing. Only full attendance is reportable to the AIA/CES.
Professional engineers, architects, and landscape architects seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to claim the hours earned at this seminar, in most cases. Refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.
The Association of State Floodplain Managers has approved this course for 7.0 CECs.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Course Title: Stormwater Management
Delivery Method: Live
Course Description: This seven-hour live lecture presentation examines stormwater permit requirements and procedures, the science of stormwater, stormwater best management practices, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and plans for inspecting, monitoring, maintaining and record keeping stormwater management practices.
Learning Objectives:
Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to reference and comply with national and state stormwater regulations and permit requirements, and they will be able to determine which construction projects they apply to.
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to apply the science of stormwater to identify the consequences of storm events and form strategies to reduce runoff, route and store stormwater and encourage infiltration and percolation.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to assist in stormwater management planning that includes green infrastructure practices and techniques.
Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to aid in the development of stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) by assessing building sites, choosing best management practices, and planning for required inspection, maintenance and recordkeeping of stormwater management efforts.
