This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 7.0 PDHs for professional engineers and 7.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects in Michigan. Continuing education courses for Michigan engineers and architects are not subject to pre-approval.
The American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System has approved this course for 7.0 HSW LUs (Sponsor No. J885). Only full participation is reportable to the AIA/CES.
The International Code Council has approved this event for .7 CEUs in the specialty area of Administration (Preferred Provider No. 1232).
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Daniel Frondorf, CPE, CDT
DG Frondorf and Associates LLC, CincinnatiMr. Frondorf owns and operates Cincinnati-based DG Frondorf and Associates LLC, a construction cost estimating consulting firm. He is a member of Consulting Estimator’s Round Table (CERT), AACE, and the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE). He has 25 years of service as a construction estimator, and has presented several seminars on estimating practices and ethical bidding topics to trade associations and at industry events. Mr. Frondorf is also a past instructor of construction estimating at the University of Cincinnati and has guest lectured there and at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. He has also written several articles on estimating related topics in Estimating Today and Design Cost Data magazines.
J. Christian Hauser
Attorney at Frasco Caponigro Wineman & Scheible, PLLCMr. Hauser has extensive experience with the full spectrum of legal tasks associated with a construction project, from negotiating the contract to participating in dispute resolution proceedings, preparing and prosecuting fee and delay claims, and litigating disputes. He has represented a wide variety of clients in the construction area, including suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, owners, design professionals, and sureties. In addition, he is a member of the American Arbitration Association Panel of Construction Arbitrators and Mediators. An attorney since 1998, as well as a licensed builder in the state of Michigan, Mr. Hauser earned his undergraduate degree from Aquinas College and his J.D. degree from the University of Detroit School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in all state and federal courts in Michigan, as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the United States Court of Federal Claims in Washington, D.C., Mr. Hauser is a member of Michigan Bar Association (Business Law Section), the American Bar Association (Construction Industry Forum), Rochester Bar Association and the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM). He is a frequent lecturer concerning legal issues pertaining to contractors, design professionals and suppliers.
Mark McAlpine
Principal and Attorney at McAlpine PCMr. McAlpine has specialized in construction law and litigation for over 35 years. He is the founding principal of McAlpine P.C., a 10-lawyer construction and complex litigation law firm headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Mr. McAlpine regularity represents owners, general contractors, specialty subcontractors, sureties and design professionals in connection with large and complex commercial projects throughout the country. He has served on the adjunct law faculty of the Wayne State School of Law teaching contracts and construction law and is a frequent lecturer for a wide variety of industry associations, including the Associated General Contractors of America and the American Bar Association.
