Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion will be provided for each webinar attended and will be sent via email in PDF form about five business days after the conclusion of the series.
Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. This course is open to the public and offers 6.5 PDHs/continuing education hours to
professional engineers licensed in Texas. Educators and courses are not subject to
preapproval in Texas.
Engineers seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to claim credit
earned at this program, in most cases. Please refer to specific state continuing education
rules to determine course eligibility.
This course is approved for CM | 6.5 by the American Planner Association–AICP for
Certified Planners (Course No. 9219918).
In-person attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available
after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance
certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen
Course completion certificates will be awarded to participants who complete the webinar
online in its entirety, respond to all the prompts during the instruction, and earn a score
of 80% on the quiz that follows the instruction (multiple attempts allowed).
George Lueck, P.E.Engineer at TxDOT
George Lueck, P.E., has 17 years of experience with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). He started his career performing design and surveying for a variety of roadway projects ranging from farm-to-market roads, urban roadways and high design speed facilities in the Waco district. He later transferred to the construction division, where he provided oversight to statewide districts in the areas of construction project management, construction engineering, inspection and contract claims. After serving in this capacity for over 9 years, he transferred to the transportation planning division. As Assistant Director of Traffic Analysis, he oversaw transportation data collection and reporting, corridor-level plans, and travel demand modeling. He then served the City of Killeen for 11 years as Assistant City Engineer and Director of Transportation. He had oversight of all operation of the city’s transportation system. He was also charged with ensuring that the city’s transportation system was planned, constructed and maintained in a cost-effective manner to effectively address the region’s growing safety, mobility and reliability needs.
