All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Continuing Education Credit Information

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for up to 6.5 PDHs for professional engineers in Oklahoma for whom this subject matter is professionally relevant.

The Oklahoma MCLE Commission has approved this webinar for 8.0 CLE credits which includes 7.0 general credits and 1.0 ethics credit.

HalfMoon Education is an approved CM Provider with the American Planning Association. This course is registered for CM | 6.5 for Certified Planners.

This program may qualify for up to 6.5 PDHs for licensed geologists in some states. HalfMoon Education has not applied for state geologist continuing education approval in states requiring such. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Ms. Bergdall Eberle earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and her J.D. degree from the Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Scott Butcher

Shareholder/director in the Energy, Environment & Natural Resources and Litigation & Trial practice groups at Crowe & Dunlevy.

Mr. Butcher practice focuses on complex business disputes, environmental liability litigation and regulatory enforcement and compliance for a diverse client base, including oil and gas and renewable energy clients, water providers, agricultural groups, mining groups, property developers and individual litigants. Mr. Butcher also advises clients regarding water use regulation and litigation, in addition to complex administrative appeals. Licensed in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas, he represents clients in federal and state court at the district and appellate levels as well as before the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality, the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, and the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. Mr. Butcher is a member of the American Bar Association’s (Section of Environment, Energy and Resources), Center for Professional Responsibility and Young Lawyers Division. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. degree from New York University School of Law.

Kaylee Davis-Maddy

Partner at Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, L.L.P.

Ms. Davis-Maddy’s areas of practice include commercial, healthcare, environmental and water law sectors. Although primarily a litigator, her practice is full service—assisting her clients and their needs that span the employment, commercial, real property, regulatory and administrative fields. Ms. Davis-Maddy’s healthcare practice includes advising physicians and other licensed providers regarding corporate, administrative and litigation issues, while her environmental practice focuses on interacting with state and federal agencies to provide her clients with the outcomes they desire. Most recently, she has obtained favorable results for clients in state and federal licensure and certification actions, including with the Department of Environmental Quality and Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. Ms. Davis-Maddy is an accomplished water attorney, regularly assisting clients in asserting, obtaining, and protecting their water rights in court or at state agencies. Her clients include small and large municipalities, corporations, landowners, and family farmers. Ms. Davis-Maddy is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. Mr. Sowecke is a director in the firm’s Oklahoma City office and is a member of the Energy, Environment & Natural Resources and Real Estate Practice Groups. He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in Oklahoma and Wyoming. Mr. Sowecke is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Wyoming Bar Association, and the Mineral Lawyers Society of Oklahoma City. He earned his M.A. degree in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming, and his J.D. degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law.
