All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

This webinar is open to the public and offers 6.0 continuing education PDHs, including 1.0 ethics PDH, that can be applied toward the fulfillment of Continuing Professional Competency requirements for professional engineers in Mississippi. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Mississippi.

Completion certificates will be awarded to participants who complete this event, respond to prompts, and earn a passing score (80%) on the quiz that follows the presentation (multiple attempts allowed).

Samuel Gregory

Samuel Gregory is a shareholder in the Jackson, Mississippi office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. and is a member of the firm’s construction practice group. As a member of the construction group, Mr. Gregory assists clients across a broad range of construction-related issues. This includes advising clients on front-end issues, such as contract negotiations and licensing requirements, and litigating and arbitrating design and construction-defect and payment disputes. Mr. Gregory is actively involved in the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law, as well as local industry groups, such as Associated Builders and Contractors.

Andrew Harris

Andrew Harris is a partner in the litigation practice group at Jones Walker. He represents closely held businesses, publicly traded companies, and entrepreneurs on a broad array of complex, commercial concerns. Mr. Harris assists clients with the protection of their intellectual property, such as prosecution and defense of trademark, copyright, and patent infringement claims, as well as trade secrets litigation. He also focuses his practice on remedying the practical problems small businesses frequently encounter, including intra-corporate disputes, the proper exercise of fiduciary responsibilities, and proceedings involving regulatory bodies and administrative agencies.

Jim Mozingo is a partner at Mozingo Quarles. Lindsay Roberts

Lindsay Roberts is a commercial litigation attorney in the Jackson, Mississippi office of McGlinchey Stafford, PLLC. Mrs. Roberts has represented a variety of construction clients, including engineers, architects, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers and her practice includes an emphasis on contract interpretation and commercial litigation. Her representation has also included contract negotiation, litigation, and arbitration of construction matters in both commercial and residential contexts. Mrs. Roberts is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law and other construction industry associations.
