Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Mr. Hendrick has been working in California Construction for close to 55 years. Larry Hendrick Consulting was founded in February 2022. Larry Hendrick Consulting provides estimating and preconstruction consulting services for all types of construction projects. Prior to founding Larry Hendrick Consulting, LLC, Larry owned and operated Larry Hendrick General Contracting Company. Larry also worked as a Chief Estimator preparing cost of repair estimates for Construction Defect Litigation Cases. Larry has also worked as Chief Estimator and Preconstruction Director for Balfour Beatty Construction, Gilbane Construction, Straub Construction and finally at Swinerton Builders.

Course Title: Managing Construction Costs and Supply Chain Issues

Course Description: This two-hour course provides methods of managing costs and resolving supply chain issues in the construction process. The course will focus on the estimating, planning and managing of costs with an emphasis on value engineering, explain the importance of team members in managing costs, and explore methods of resolving supply chain issues with material providers.

Learners will be able to describe the process of planning, managing and tracking costs of design, materials and labor.

Learners will be able to explain the importance of value engineering to reduce costs where possible without sacrificing quality or integrity.
