Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.
Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. HalfMoon Education does not apply for land surveyor courses in NJ, MO, TN or NY unless expressly stated. The Florida DBPR Board of Landscape Architecture generally accepts courses approved by the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES). Landscape architects licensed in Florida are encouraged to review The 2021 Florida Statutes, 481.313(4) to determine course eligibility.

Dr. Stephen J. Souza
Owner of Clean Waters Consulting, LLC, New Jersey
Dr. Souza is the founding partner of Princeton Hydro, LLC. From its inception in 1998 through 2018, he served as president of Princeton Hydro, retiring from the company in 2019. Over the past 35 years he has dedicated his career to the management and restoration of aquatic ecosystems, in particular lakes, ponds and reservoirs. Dr. Souza received his B.S. degree in 1974 from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, his M.S. in 1976 from Rutgers University, and his Ph.D. in 1981 from the University of Connecticut. He has served over the past 25 years as an instructor and course coordinator for the Rutgers NJAES Office of Continuing Professional Education, developing and implementing multiple short courses focused on the management and restoration of aquatic ecosystems. Dr. Souza is also an adjunct professor at Temple University (Ambler Campus), teaching a graduate studies course in the Department of Landscape and Horticulture (Tyler School of Art and Agriculture). He also conducts a professional continuing education course focusing on green infrastructure stormwater management for CPES through Montclair State University.

Course Description: This two-hour course provides detailed information and guidance on the maintenance of green infrastructure practices. Different kinds of green infrastructure require specialized tracking and maintenance to ensure continued operation. This course identifies the different types of green infrastructure and provides the necessary guidance and solutions to design professionals to adequately maintain them.
