How to Utilize Modular Construction (and Why)

For AIA requirements only, the on-demand recording will have occasional question prompts that will not allow the video to progress unless they are answered, and you will not be able to skip forward while watching the video.
Please note, if you attempt to resume watching the video on a separate device, your progress will not be saved.

You will have unlimited access to the on-demand video recording, and it will never expire.

Dr. Jin Ouk Choi, Ph.D. E.I.T. A.M. ASCE
Assistant Professor of Civil, Environmental Engineering and Construction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)Dr. Jin Ouk Choi received his M.S.E. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He has research and industry experience in Construction Engineering and Management, Modular Construction, Design Standardization, Pre-project Planning, and Diversity and Inclusion in Construction Workforce. Dr. Choi has acted as principal investigator on externally funded research from esteemed funding agencies such as NSF, CII, Tesla, and USDOT. He is the author/co-author of over 30 refereed journal and conference articles and technical reports on modularization. Dr. Choi currently serves the CII Modularization Community for Business Advancement (MCBA) as an academic advisor. He is a faculty fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Excellence in Civil Engineering Education (ExCEEd). He has taught a graduate-level course entitled “Modular Construction” at UNLV since 2017.
