Continuing Education Credit Information
This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.5 PDHs for professional engineers and land surveyors in Georgia. Continuing education activities are not subject to pre-approval in Georgia, but the Board has final authority regarding approval and calculation of credits.
This webinar has been approved by the Georgia Commission on Continuing Lawyer Competency (CCLC) for 6.5 CLE hours. This approval only applies to the live format of this course.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Donald Evans Jr.
Evans Law Firm in Cartersville, GAMr. Evans is a native of Cartersville, Georgia, and he attended the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee and the law school at the University of Georgia. Following law school Mr. Evans spent two years as a clerk to Federal District Court Judge Harold L. Murphy in Rome, Georgia. Mr. Evans’ practice is focused on eminent domain, criminal defense, and general litigation. Mr. Evans is a leader in defending the property rights of families throughout the State whose land is sought by electric companies such as Georgia Power and the Georgia Transmission Corporation. He represents landowners throughout the State of Georgia, in over 50 counties, including: Bartow, Barrow, Cobb, Coweta, Catoosa, Forsyth, Gordon, Gwinnett, Hall, Jackson, Oconee, Paulding, and Washington counties.
Julie A. Liberman
Attorney at Julie A. Liberman, LLC, in Marietta, GAMs. Liberman has broad experience handling real estate-related disputes. She represents individuals, associations and businesses in matters such as real estate contractual disputes, fraud claims, construction-defect claims, boundary disputes, adverse possession, equitable partition, and contested trusts and estates. Based in the Atlanta area, Ms. Liberman is an experienced real estate dispute attorney handling cases throughout metropolitan Atlanta and the State of Georgia. She is a trained litigator with more than 20 years of experience who understands the value of resolving disputes before they escalate whenever possible.
Barry Savage, PLS
Survey Products Group Manager with Tennessee Valley Authority in Chattanooga, TNMr. Savage began his survey career while in college in 1981. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering Technology. He worked for the next 10 years for various civil/survey firms in positions ranging from crew chief to senior designer. In 1993 he started Savage Surveying and Mapping. While operating his firm Mr. Savage surveyed several state lines to resolve jurisdictional conflicts. He served as survey consultant during the construction of the Ocoee Whitewater venue for the 1996 Olympics. He is currently the Survey Products Manager at the Tennessee Valley Authority providing survey services to support their seven-state service area. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Cleveland State Community College for 20 years where he teaches courses in boundary law, geodesy, and general surveying. He and his students have retraced the historical surveys of Henry David Thoreau on Walden Pond in Concord Massachusetts. He teaches continuing education courses on surveying and boundary issues across the country. He is a licensed surveyor in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.
Kasey Sturm
Counsel at Weissman in Atlanta, GAMs. Sturm works with the commercial real estate practice group bringing 16 years of experience advising individuals, community groups, homeowners associations, businesses, local governments and non-profit organizations on a variety of environmental and land use matters. She focuses her practice on environmental litigation at the regulatory, administrative, trial and appellate levels. Kasey represents clients on a wide range of land use and zoning matters, including before governmental bodies and appeal boards, as well as in state and appellate courts. She also advises clients on a variety of environmental matters related to land ownership, use and development; represents clients in actions to address damage to property stemming from various environmental conditions, including as a result of storm water flows and sedimentation; compliance and permitting under a wide range of environmental laws, as well as land use and zoning laws and regulations. Kasey also advises clients in non-profit leadership and management, including formation of community groups and non-profit organizations.
