Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Course Title: Developing Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles

Course Description: This course examines the near future of transportation, specifically electric vehicles and the infrastructure that will serve them. Charging stations may be required for office buildings, residential complexes, and other structures. This course provides design professionals with an understanding of the technology that will be required to charge vehicles in traditional and nontraditional locations.
Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to distinguish the types and capabilities of electric vehicles, including plug-in electrics (PEVs), hybrid plug-ins (PHEVs), and electric (EV).
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to explain the levels and types of EV charging infrastructure, identify charging equipment requirements, and discuss the siting and applications of Level 2 and Level 3 charging infrastructure.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to discuss electric grid requirements for charging infrastructure and the necessity to acquire commitments from utilities.
Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to reference local requirements and regulations for EV charging infrastructure and incentives to enter the market.
