Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Course Description: This course examines accessibility requirements of the Texas Accessibility Standard, the Americans with Disability Act, and the International Building Code and the relationship between them.
Learning Objective 1:
Learners will be able to explain the relationship between the Texas Accessibility Standard (TAS), the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), and the International Building Code (IBC) and the buildings they cover.
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to identify readily-achievable removal of accessibility barriers in structures.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to comply with TAS, ADA, and IBC provisions for paths of travel, accessible parking, ramps, entrances and doors, stairways, and recreational facilities.
Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to comply with TAS, ADA, and IBC provisions for interior accessible routes, toilet facilities, showers, drinking fountains, signage, assembly areas, and assistive listening systems.
