Webinar Instructions
Each webinar session earns continuing education credit and can be registered for
individually. All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may
not watch together on the same device if they wish to earn continuing education
credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the
attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion will be available for download and printing upon
completion of a follow-up quiz with at least 80% accuracy (multiple attempts
allowed).

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that
can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information
will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly
recommended that you download, install and test the application before the
webinar begins by clicking on the link in
the email.

Rob McConell, PE, LEED, Green Associate, Vice President Parking Solutions
Mr. McConnell’s parking design and consulting experience encompasses more than 20 years of work with airports, governmental agencies, and with military, transit, higher education, resort, healthcare, and corporate clients. He is well-versed in precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and steel construction. Mr. McConnell’s experience includes numerous restoration, parking study, and programming projects. Several of his projects have received LEED certification, including Colorado State University’s Lake Street parking facility, which received LEED Gold.

Course Description: This course instructs design professionals on how to design ADA and ICC-compliant parking accessibility.

Learners will be able to discuss basic tenants of the Americans with Disability Act and the International Building Code A117.1.

Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to reference and discuss ADA and ICC accessibility requirements for parking garages and lots, including quantity and locations of stalls, access aisles, signage, routes, and egress.

Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to comply with ADA and ICC accessibility requirements for alterations to existing parking facilities.

Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to comply with ADA and ICC accessibility requirements for on-street parking.
