National Building Expert, Principal Engineer of Construction Management Inspection LLCMr. Luke has over 40 years of experience in the construction and engineering industry. He offers inspections, construction management, and construction consultation for residential and commercial projects and is a national speaker on topics such as construction; engineering, building safety, real estate, construction litigation, expert witness services, building codes and more. Mr. Luke is a three-time best-selling author on the subjects of construction management and building safety and has numerous articles published in national construction, design and management publications. He has also been a featured guest on national media shows such as Times Square Today and Hollywood Live, which were broadcast on national media outlets such as ABC, CNBC, CNN, NBC, Fox Affiliates, A&E and Bravo. In his speaking career, Mr. Luke conducts up to 30 presentations annually, including educational webinars and seminars targeted toward the construction, real estate, and property management industries. He has also participated in expert panels, discussing construction litigation and building code compliance. Course Description: This short two-hour course examines construction contract change orders. The course will explain what a change order is, who can initiate the change order process, typical changes that result in change orders, the importance of getting all parties to agree in writing, and how to resolve disputes that arise from changes.
