Gerritsen Inspection Services, LLC – West Valley City, UT
As the founder of Gerritsen Inspection Services, LLC, Mr. Gerritsen provides professional construction code consulting, plan reviews, and inspection services. He is a construction professional with more than 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Amongst other positions, Mr. Gerritsen has served as building official for the Cities of Bluffdale, Holladay, and Tooele, and he has served as director of planning/construction for a large (3,100 + acre) master-planned community in Draper, Utah. He served previously as an adjunct instructor at ITT Technical Institute where he taught upper-level division courses in the Construction Management bachelor program. Mr. Gerritsen earned his B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and his M.B.A. degree from Western Governors University. Mr. Gerritsen has always promoted building code development and education, including serving as the founding president of the Bonneville Chapter of the International Code Council 1993-1994, and as a member of the Board of Directors 1994-1995. In addition to consulting, Mr. Gerritsen continues to share his experience with others through seminars, discussions, and webinars.
