Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Speakers

Michael Berry

Mr. Berry has over six years of experience working for third party testing and inspection firms and performs daily inspection and testing for local municipality jurisdictions, the South Carolina Office of School Facilities, and the South Carolina Office of the State Engineer. He specializes in performing International Building Code (IBC) Chapter 17 special inspections, earthwork and site work inspections and testing; assisting with mechanical, plumbing, building, and electrical inspections; and consulting and code interpretation of IBC, NFPA, AWS D1.1, ASME IX, and ASME B31.1. He is a registered South Carolina professional engineer; certified building official; master special inspector for reinforced concrete, structural masonry, SFRM, and high strength bolting; certified welding inspector (CWI); and commercial Chapter 1 inspector. Mr. Berry also has SCDOT Earthwork, Concrete, and HMA QC level 1, along with South Carolina CEPSCI and seven other Chapter 1 certifications. Currently he is a participant of the 2018 Special Inspections manual review and AWS Exam committee. He has been appointed to the Exam Development Committee for the soils special inspector exam for the term of January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2019. Mr. Berry is a board member of Central Building Inspectors Associations.
