Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers 6.0 contact hours/PDHs to professional engineers and land surveyors in most states, including New York. HalfMoon Education Inc. is a New York-approved continuing education provider (NYSED Sponsor No. 35).

This seminar is also designed for 6.0 continuing education hours for geologists. Continuing education is not required for geologists in New York.

HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida and New Jersey (Approval No. 24GP00000700) and is an approved sponsor for engineers and land surveyors in Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, and North Dakota.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Speakers

Dr. Barnard

Dr. Thomas E. Barnard has over 25 years of progressive experience in solving environmental problems related to water quantity and water quality. He is an expert in the application of hydrologic and hydraulic numerical models to water resources infrastructure and regional watershed management. His expertise embraces the latest technology for models including modeling building, geospatial data integration, alternatives evaluation, documentation, training and presentation of results. He has authored, edited and published numerous technical books and articles on the use of models in engineering practice. His experience includes the design and implementation of surface water quality monitoring programs, monitoring data analysis, environmental restoration, and radioactive waste management. He is currently working on the second edition of Stormwater Conveyance Modeling and Design for the Bentley Institute Press. Dr. Barnard is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania and Vermont.
