Each webinar has been approved for 1.5 CLE hours for attorneys in Arkansas, Indiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Ohio, Texas*, and Virginia, and each webinar has been approved for 1.8 CLE hours in Missouri. HalfMoon Education is an approved CLE provider in California, New York, and Vermont, and each webinar offers 1.5 CLE hours in these states. HalfMoon Education has applied for CLE course approvals in Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, which are pending.
* Includes 1.5 specialization hours in the areas of Civil Trial Law (attorneys and paralegals), Family Law (attorneys and paralegals), and Civil Appellate Law (attorneys).
Attorneys interested in CLE course approval in other states are encouraged to contact HalfMoon Education in a timely fashion to request course approval. Florida attorneys will have to seek course approval on their own, for which there is no fee.
Speakers
Jillian Wood
Stange Law Firm, PCPartner, Stange Law Firm, PCJillian A. Wood is a partner with the Illinois offices of Stange Law Firm, PC. Ms. Wood represents clients in Illinois and Missouri in family law matters; including, divorce, child custody, child support, guardianship, adoption, paternity and other domestic relation matters. Ms. Wood received her B.S. degree, in clinical laboratory science, from St. Louis University, where she attended the University as a presidential scholar. She also received her J.D. degree and her master’s in public health degree from St. Louis University. Ms. Wood is licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri. She has extensive knowledge in the area of family law. While in law school, she interned with the school’s legal clinic, where she assisted clients with child guardianship and child orders of protection cases. Prior to joining Stange Law Firm, PC, Ms. Wood worked for a general practice firm where she handled numerous family law cases, as well as personal injury, administrative law and general litigation cases. Ms. Wood has argued in front of appellate courts in Illinois and Missouri and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Illinois Bar Association. Ms. Wood has been instrumental in the growth of Stange Law Firm, PC’s Illinois offices. Along with being selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2014 and 2015, Ms. Wood is Lead Counsel Rated for Divorce and Family Law in 2015.
