Webinar Instructions

All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.

Certificates of completion will be provided for each webinar attended and will be sent via email in PDF form about five business days after the date of the conclusion of the series.

Webinars are presented via GoToWebinar, an easy-to-use application that can be run on most systems and tablets. Instructions and login information will be provided in an email sent close to the date of the webinar. It is highly recommended that you download, install and test the application before the webinar begins by clicking on the link in the email.

Continuing Education Credit Information

This CLE activity is offered to California paralegals as either a traditional group-live seminar (6.5 CLE hours, including 1.0 Ethics hour) or as a live interactive webinar giving paralegals the option to select the learning method that best suits their needs. Paralegals opting for the webinar learning method have the choice of registering and earning CLE credit for the morning session (3.0 CLE hours, including 1.0 Ethics hour), the afternoon session (3.5 CLE hours), or both sessions (6.5 CLE hours, including 1.0 Ethics hour). All participation options have been approved by the National Association of Legal Assistants and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, and they qualify for California paralegals. Paralegals attending the group live seminar will receive a completion certificate at the conclusion of the seminar, in most cases. Certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed within 15 business days following the event. Webinar participation will be monitored, and a quiz will be administered after each session. Completion certificates will be emailed within 10 business days after quiz results are available.

She holds the professional designations of Advanced Certificate Paralegal, Professional in Human Resources, and SHRM-CP.Ms. Hallsted has taught civil litigation, business organizations, legal research and writing, property law and contract law courses in ABA-approved paralegal programs. She is the current president of the Orange County Paralegal Association.
