Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers 6.5 continuing education hours/PDHs to professional engineers and 6.5 contact hours to architects in all states, except Florida architects. HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education provider for Indiana engineers (License No. CE21700059). Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval for Indiana architects and landscape architects.

This course offers 6.5 HSW contact hours to landscape architects in most states, including Indiana. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Indiana.

The American Institute of Architects has approved this course for 6.5 Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885) and the Landscape Architecture Continuing education System has approved it for 6.5 HSW PDHs. Only full attendance can be reported to the AIA/CES and the LA/CES.

This seminar offers a non-credit continuing education opportunity to construction contracts. It has not been approved by any contractor licensing board for continuing education credit.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Speakers

Andrew Lueck

Planned Forest Solutions LLC

Andrew Lueck is president and consulting arborist at Planned Forest Solutions LLC, an urban tree consulting firm based in Chicago, Illinois. He has worked in the field of arboriculture/urban forestry for over 15 years, in which he has held roles in the commercial, municipal and higher education sectors. Through Planned Forest Solutions, he helps municipalities, homeowners and commercial firms manage trees in urban areas to achieve their maximum benefit. He has extensive experience in tree preservation, tree biology, urban forest master planning, and tree risk assessment, and he has been involved as an expert witness on trees.
Mr. Lueck holds a bachelor of science degree in Urban Forestry from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and a masters degree in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a board certified master arborist, registered consulting arborist, LEED AP ND and is tree risk assessment qualified (TRAQ).
