This seminar is open to the public and offers up to 6.5 HSW continuing education hours to architects and landscape architects and 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers in Ohio. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Ohio.

This seminar is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885) and the Landscape Architect Continuing Education System for 6.5 HSW PDHs.

Elizabeth Hiser

Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District

Natural Resources Manager, Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation DistrictMs. Hiser is the natural resources coordinator for the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District. She coordinates the post-construction stormwater control measures long term operation and maintenance program. Ms. Hiser coordinates outreach and training efforts for community stakeholders, residents, students, businesses, and local governments to meet required public education and involvement goals. Her work includes field surveying, data collection and analysis, site inspections, written reports, and presentations. She also performs district stream assessments and provides technical assistance to communities related to land conservation and natural resource initiatives. Prior to joining the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, Ms. Hiser was an environmental scientist with Tetra Tech where she had 11 years of experience providing technical support on projects for the USEPA’s TMDL Program and the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. She earned her B.S. degree in Water Resources from Heidelberg College.
