Continuing Education Credit Information
This seminar is open to the public and offers up to 6.5 contact hours (CEUs) to architects and landscape architects and 6.5 PDHs to professional engineers in Missouri. Educators and courses are not subject to preapproval in Missouri.
This seminar is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.5 Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885) and the Landscape Architect Continuing Education System for 6.5 HSW PDHs.
Architects, landscape architects, and professional engineers seeking continuing education credit in other states will be able to claim the hours earned at this seminar, in most cases. Refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.
The Association of State Floodplain Managers has approved this event for 6.5 CECs for certified floodplain managers.
This seminar is designed to provide a continuing education opportunity for contractors. It has not been submitted to any state contractor licensing entity for continuing education approval.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.
Speakers
Michele Gremminger
Stormwater Management Coordinator, City of O’Fallon, MissouriMs. Gremminger manages the NPDES Phase II Stormwater program for the City of O’Fallon, Missouri. She has experience in public policy, government permitting, regulations, water quality, green infrastructure, stormwater infrastructure, hazardous waste, website management, reporting/database management, budgeting, environmental education, volunteer events and marketing. She specializes in stormwater concerns for private, public or developing sites; environmental compliance with regard to government regulations; pollution prevention; public education; and event and volunteer coordination. Ms. Gremminger has experience with Low Impact Development/Green Infrastructure, environmental permitting, and illicit discharge detection and elimination enforcement. She has earned the designation of Certified Professional in Municipal Stormwater Management (CPMSM) and Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI) from EnviroCert International.
