Michael Bateman
Project Hydrology Inc.Chief Technology Officer, Project Hydrology Inc., Tallahassee, Florida
Mr. Bateman has over 30 years’ experience in environmental science and engineering including having primary authorship of many of FDEP’s stormwater regulations and engineering criteria. While serving at FDEP and as chairperson of FSA’s Legislative Committee, he has also cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the State’s Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) and NPDES Stormwater programs, as well as the potential impact of TMDLs and impaired waters designations on various permitting decisions. Mr. Bateman has been involved in setting stormwater policy, providing leadership and providing oversight of complex and controversial stormwater projects statewide. He received his MS degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of Central Florida and earned his BS degree in Zoology from the University of Central Florida.
