Continuing Education Credit Information

This seminar is open to the public and offers up to 6.5 HSW contact hours (PDHs) to architects and 6.5 PDHs (HSW) to professional engineers in all states. Educators and courses are not subject to pre-approval in South Dakota.

The American Institute of Architects has approved this event for 6.5 HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885).

Speakers

Duane Crawford

Duane Crawford Dakota Geo Consultants, LLC
Mr. Crawford is a consultant and contractor specializing in drilling, geothermal capacitors, geothermal design and geothermal development. He has 46 years of experience in drilling, and over 29 years of experience in geothermal design and construction. Mr. Crawford has designed and constructed horizontal and vertical ground heat exchangers, and his alternative designs include pond loop, single well pump-and-dump, thermal capacitors, and solar-assisted ground source heat pump configurations. He has been involved in pioneering research in thermal capacitors under the registered trademark name DEWECEL for balancing and enhancing performance and efficiency in the application of ground source heat pumps. He has designed and constructed geothermal systems in South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Canada, and Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. Mr. Crawford has worked in the water development industry since 1976. Geothermal development and design since 1993.
