Speakers
Patrick McGuire
Patrick M. McGuire, P.E., S.E., has served the public as a structural engineer since his graduation from the University of Louisville in 1974 with a Master of Civil Engineering degree. He has worked in the wood products and related industries since 1979 and is currently practicing as an independent consultant. He is very lucky to have worked for generous employers who encouraged him to grow his expertise and to share it with others through participation in professional and trade associations such as the Wood Truss Council of America, the Truss Plate Institute, the American Society of Agricultural Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the National Frame Builders Association. Mr. McGuire has published several technical articles on wood-related design.
