Mr. Thomas is a project manager with Innovative Engineering, Inc. and has over 14 years of experience in providing structural engineering on commercial and federal projects, including significant experience on projects for the DoD, CDC, DHS, USDA and VA. He received his BSCET degree from Southern Polytechnic State University, and he has received specialized training in a diverse range of technical areas including several which are unique to the structural profession. Additionally, Mr. Thomas has significant experience designing new and renovated facilities including secure facilities; explosive ordinance and disposal buildings; laboratories; headquarters/operations facilities including training, office and admin buildings; and housing facilities. He has served as the structural engineer for projects requiring full and partial designs, utilities hardening, master planning, programming, and value engineering. Mr. Thomas’ responsibilities include involvement in preliminary through final design and construction administration, as well as performing a broad range of structural evaluations and assessments.
