Noel W. Sterett

Mr. Sterett has helped religious institutions and assemblies navigate land use and zoning laws for over a decade. The core of his practice is devoted to ensuring people are free to serve God and their neighbors in their communities and in the marketplace. He has helped win dozens of religious land use cases in federal courts across the country, enabling his clients to use newly-purchased buildings and land to accomplish their noble missions. In addition to litigating religious land use cases, Mr. Sterett regularly advises religious groups on civil rights matters and how best to secure zoning for religious land uses. He resides in Rockford, Illinois with his wife and five children.
