Paul Tucker

Professional Engineer and Owner/Partner at C2it and PEISMr. Tucker, a native of Dandridge, Tennessee, owns and operates PEIS, a structural and forensic engineering firm in his home town, which he started in 2006. Prior to starting PEIS, Mr. Tucker was a partner in Progressive Engineering Group, a structural engineering firm in Knoxville. Mr. Tucker has extensive design experience with cold-formed steel, as he started his career in the metal building industry working as a design engineer for A&S Building Systems in Caryville, Tennessee. In addition to running his engineering firm, Mr. Tucker has been an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville for the past two and a half years. Mr. Tucker teaches CADD Applications in Civil Engineering, Construction Methods and Management, Steel Connection Design, Analysis of Framed Structures, and Structural Systems in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University. Mr. Tucker earned his bachelor’s of science degree in Civil Engineering and master’s of science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Tennessee, and he is currently pursuing his doctorate in Biosystems Engineering at the University. Mr. Tucker was a longstanding board member of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers – Knoxville Chapter and is the current past-president of The Tennessee Structural Engineers Association – East Region. Prior to becoming an engineer, Mr. Tucker was an Arabic Linguist with the United States Army, where he was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in the 101st Airborne Division.
