Ms. Archer is a seasoned litigator, educator, advocate and mediator. As General Counsel of the Iowa Department of Corrections, she provides professional legal work to the Department’s leadership team and staff within the prison system and community-based corrections, as well as the Board of Corrections. Ms. Archer also manages the legal services to over 8,500 incarcerated individuals and 30,000 probationers and/or parolees. She has 15 years of litigation experience and has tried over 60 jury trials. Ms. Archer has represented the State of Iowa in civil and criminal trials and for a time, contracted with the State to provide legal representation to indigent defendants charged with Class A felony offenses. Once referred to as a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” by an opposing party, she loves a well-fought battle in the courtroom. When not advocating for her clients, Ms. Archer enjoys spending time with her husband and two children – traveling, playing games, and coaching or watching their children’s sporting events.

Ms. Tucker Glick maintains a civil litigation and trial law practice dedicated to defending hospitals and medical professionals. She also represents licensed health care professionals and medical institutions in connection with administrative investigations, licensure complaints and employment issues. Ms. Tucker Glick has extensive trial experience having done more than two dozen criminal and civil jury trials. She has also handled criminal and civil appeals to the Iowa Court of Appeals and the Iowa Supreme Court.

Ms. Tucker Glick was born and raised in Iowa City. She attended the University of Oklahoma for her undergraduate studies and then returned to Iowa for law school. After receiving her JD, Ms. Tucker Glick practiced for several years in Des Moines, both in private practice and as an Assistant Polk County Attorney. She is a proud third generation attorney and in 2012, returned to Iowa City to enter practice with her father, as her father had done with her grandfather a generation before. She lives in Iowa City with her husband and daughter.

Ms. Miller is also Director of the ABA approved Legal Studies Program at College of Saint Mary and the College’s pre-law advisor. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member, she taught as an adjunct instructor in the program for ten years. Licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Iowa, Ms. Miller has worked in several corporate legal departments, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, lending and general financial services. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Creighton University and her J.D. from Drake University School of Law.

Ms. Wanek is a second-generation lawyer born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. Her practice focuses on family law and juvenile matters. Ms. Wanek represents individuals and families in divorce proceedings, custody matters, child support hearings, and appeals, providing compassionate and strategic advocacy during life’s most challenging transitions. She also has participated as a Guardian ad Litem and Child and Family Reporter in cases, advocating for the best interests of the child as well as providing recommendations to the Court on custody and visitation. In addition to her practice in family law, Ms. Wanek has advised business owners on entity formation and contract matters, assisted clients in estate planning and probate, and second-chaired civil litigation matters including claims for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and fraud. She earned her J.D. from Drake University Law School, where she served as an editor of the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law, a student ambassador, and president of Drake Law Women. While in law school, Ms. Wanek gained valuable experience as a student attorney with the Drake Elder Law Clinic, assisting Central Iowans with probate matters. She also clerked for the Honorable Judge Block in Polk County Probate Court.

Mr. West’s practice encompasses a variety of legal areas including family law, guardian ad litem work, civil litigation, estate planning, and municipal law. Mr. West attended Texas Christian University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Psychology in 2015. He was a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and the TCU Wesley Foundation. Mr. West worked as an extern at the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office before working as a legal intern for NICHOLS | DIXON. He passed the bar in 2018 and became an associate attorney. Mr. West is licensed to practice law in all municipal and state courts, the Western District of Oklahoma, and several tribal courts. He is invested in his legal community and served on the Cleveland County Bar Association Executive Board, including as president for the 2022-2023 term. Mr. West has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2023 and 2024 following nomination and voting by his peers. He also currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Oklahoma Bar Association.

Ms. Wordehoff is an Adjunct faculty with Des Moines Area Community College teaching paralegals students Introduction to Technology and eDiscovery and Legal Research and Writing I. She is also a freelance independent legal consultant in which she consults and performs litigation support on legal writing and research, deposition preparation, document review, e-discovery, drafting of discovery requests, drafting complaints//petitions, answering complaints/petitions, motions for summary judgment and client relations. Ms. Wordehoff earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa, her Master’s degree from Syracuse University-Maxwell School, and her J.D. degree from Syracuse University School of Law.
