Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.0 CLE hours, including 1.0 ethics hour, for paralegals in California. Paralegal certification is not required to participate in this course.
HalfMoon Education is an approved Multiple Activity Provider with the State Bar of California (No. 8370), satisfying the continuing education requirements of Section 6070 of the California Business and Professionals Code.

Paul P. DeAngelis
Law Office of Paul P. DeAngelis Attorney at LawMr. DeAngelis (ppdlaw.com) runs his own law firm in San Francisco and concentrates on real estate. His practice includes tenant rights, neighbor disputes, and civil rights. In 1996, he graduated with honors from Boston University School of Law. Since 1998, Mr. DeAngelis practiced at litigation firms in San Francisco and started his firm in 2015. Since 2018, he has taught five different courses at SFSU’s Paralegal Program, most often Investigation, Discovery & Trial Prep; Legal Ethics & Communication Skills; and Real Estate Law.
Guy Kornblum
Attorney with Guy O. James C. Suits II
Chief Executive Officer Suits Litigation, Inc. California Personal Injury LawMr. Suits has been a practicing attorney for 20 years and focuses his practice on representing individuals who have been severely injured in a wide range of accidents. He also serves as a Mediator for the Civil Early Settlement Conference Program for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Before starting his own firm in 2012, Mr. Suits worked as an Attorney for Robinson and Wood, Inc. and Tharpe and Howell, LLP. He also served as a Law Clerk for the Civil Liability Division of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. Mr. Suits obtained his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1997. He subsequently obtained his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 2003. Mr. Suits is a member of the State Bar of California.

Co-Director and Professor of the Pasadena City College Paralegal ProgramDr. Winter earned his B.A. degree from the University of Southern California, and his J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
Deborah A. Wolfe
