Continuing Education Credit Information
This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.5 PDHs for professional engineers and 6.5 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.
HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida (Provider No. CEA 362), Indiana (License No. CE21700059), Maryland, New Jersey (Approval No. 24GP00000700) and North Carolina (S-0130). HalfMoon Education is deemed an approved continuing education sponsor for New York engineers and landscape architects via its registration with the Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (Regulations of the Commissioner §68.14(i)(2) and §79-1.5(i)(2). Other states do not preapprove continuing education providers or courses.
The Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System has approved this course for 6.5 HSW PDHs. Only full participation is reportable to the LA CES.
The International Society of Arboriculture has approved this event for the following CEUs: 6.5 Certified Arborist, Utility Specialist, Municipal Specialist, Climber Specialist, Aerial Lift Specialist; 3.0 BCMA Management; 2.0 BCMA Science; and 1.5 BCMA Practice.
Foresters may be able to earn up to 6.5 CFE credits through the CFE post-approval process with the Society of American Foresters (SAF). Credit determination will be made by SAF.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Mark A. Webber
Senior Technical Arboricultural & Horticultural Consultant with Mark Webber’s Arboricultural & Horticultural Consultancy LLCMr. Webber holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and nineteen different certifications, qualifications, accreditations, and licensures in the fields of arboriculture and horticulture. Most notably, he is a Register Consulting Arborist, Board-Certified Master Arborist, and a Certified Professional Horticulturist with over forty-seven-plus years of relevant professional experience.
Mr. Webber provides investigations, reports, and testimony in matters related to tree condition, maintenance, removal and agricultural as well as horticultural matters. His expertise includes the management of nursery, arboricultural and horticultural, and agricultural operations, dendrochronology, pesticide use, crop, and tree injuries due to biotic and abiotic conditions, appraisals of damaged crops, trees, and plants, tree failures, and tree failures due to biotic and abiotic conditions, and an assortment of agricultural, arboricultural, and horticultural issues. Mr. Webber is an admitted member of approximately thirty-two industry organizations, including the American Society of Consulting Arborists, Chartered Institute of Horticulture, International Dendrology Society, Tree-Ring Society, American Phytopathological Society, and the OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Small Business Advocacy Review Panel for Tree Care Industry Rules. He has been a court-qualified expert witness in his field in the state courts of Ohio, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Washington, and California. Mr. Webber has also been qualified to testify in Federal Court proceedings.
Mr. Webber has been working at farms and nurseries since 1975. He remains active in his industry by serving on various committees and boards and as the Founder/Co-owner of an arboricultural and horticultural firm. In this capacity, he often provides a full range of technical assistance regarding various arboricultural, apiculture, agricultural, dendrochronological, and horticultural assignments.
Mr. Webber often provides tree evaluations, tree risk assessments, plant inventories, lawn care, and weed and pest control advice to clients. Additional services include professional opinions regarding drainage improvements, soil health and nutrient levels, root system location and management, tree management during construction, retaining wall installation, consulting, and other related areas. He has worked as a Research Assistant for the BASF Corporation involving fungicides, insecticides, and herbicides trials on a diverse assortment of economically important agricultural and horticultural crops. He also served as an Apiary (Honeybee) Technician for The Ohio State University.
