Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Continuing Education Credit Information

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 2.0 PDHs for professional engineers, 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects, and 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Mr. McConnell’s parking design and consulting experience encompasses more than 20 years of work with airports, governmental agencies, and with military, transit, higher education, resort, healthcare, and corporate clients. He is well-versed in precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and steel construction. Mr. McConnell’s experience includes numerous restoration, parking study, and programming projects. Several of his projects have received LEED certification, including Colorado State University’s Lake Street parking facility, which received LEED Gold.

Course Description: This two-hour course focuses on the purpose, principles and design of right size parking. Right size parking seeks to balance parking needs with supply to facilitate efficient transportation and accessibility while saving space for other needs and uses.
