Description

A root zone gets compacted three weeks into a project, and nobody notices until the canopy starts dying two years later. A crew prunes a mature tree the same way they would a hedge. A climber works six feet from a live line because nobody walked the site first.

Preservation and safety are treated as separate jobs, but they fail for the same reason. Nobody planned for the tree.

And by the time the damage shows above ground, it has already happened below it.

So if you have ever watched a beautiful design get built around a tree that died anyway, made a pruning cut you weren’t sure about, or wondered whether your crew’s safety protocols would actually hold up near a hazard, this training is for you.

Join Kay Evanovich, ISA Certified Arborist, TRAQ, as she walks through advanced preservation techniques, planting and pruning fundamentals, and the safety protocols that protect your crew and the tree…

…PLUS real examples of adaptive designs that saved significant trees instead of losing them.

Covering preservation, planting and pruning, and safety side by side, this training will help arborists, landscape architects, contractors, and other green industry professionals build around trees instead of against them, and protect the trees worth keeping for decades.

Don’t let a construction crew, or a bad pruning cut, undo years of tree preservation work. Learn about:

  • How to protect a root zone through construction, not just plan for it
  • The tree-friendly materials and techniques that let significant trees survive a build
  • How to plant and prune for long-term tree health, not just this season’s results
  • The safety protocols that keep your crew, and the tree, in one piece
