This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 2.0 PDHs for professional engineers, 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects, and 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Vice President, Parking SolutionsMr. McConnell’s parking design and consulting experience encompasses more than 20 years of work with airports, governmental agencies, and with military, transit, higher education, resort, healthcare, and corporate clients. He is well-versed in precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and steel construction. Mr. McConnell’s experience includes numerous restoration, parking study, and programming projects. Several of his projects have received LEED certification, including Colorado State University’s Lake Street parking facility, which received LEED Gold.

Learners will be able to reference applicable accessibility provisions in the Americans with Disabilities Act and the International Code Council that address parking lots.
Learning Objective 2:
Learners will be able to reference and comply with requirements for the number and location of parking spaces or stalls in lots and parking garages.
Learning Objective 3:
Learners will be able to reference and comply with requirements for parking spaces and stall sizes, access aisles, and signage.
Learning Objective 4:
Learners will be able to reference and comply with requirements for parking lot and parking garage accessible routes and egress.
Learning Objective 5:
Learners will be able to reference and comply with accessibility requirements for alterations to existing structures and for on-street parking.
