All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Course Description: This two-hour course examines geothermal energy as a reliable, round-the-clock solution to pressing energy challenges, including energy poverty, data center power demand, and community energy resilience. Instruction covers thermal energy networks, the potential of geothermal as a continuous energy source, and practical strategies for implementing geothermal solutions at the community level.
Learning Objectives:
Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to explain the concept of energy poverty and evaluate how geothermal systems and thermal energy networks can expand access to reliable, affordable heating and cooling for underserved communities.
Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to describe the power and scalability of thermal energy networks and assess their potential to serve large and diverse energy loads, including data centers.
Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to explain why geothermal energy functions as a continuous, baseload energy source and compare its reliability to intermittent renewable alternatives.
Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to identify the steps and stakeholders involved in implementing community-scale geothermal solutions and evaluate opportunities for adoption in their own projects and communities.
