Continuing Education Information

This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 2.0 PDHs for professional engineers, 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects, and 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that allow this learning method. Please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Course Title:  Exploring the Clean Water Act: Understanding, Implementing and Budgeting for Regulation in Construction Site Design

Course Description: This two-hour course explores the Clean Water Act, its impact on site design and permitting, and compliance strategies. Specifically, the course examines permit compliance, budgeting for best management practices (BMP), strategies to mitigate runoff and environmental harm, and advanced BMPs for real-world applications.

Learning Objectives: 

Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to discuss the historical background and significance of the Clean Water Act and its role in shaping modern construction site regulations.

Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to to implement permit requirements and budget effectively for Best Management Practices (BMPs) across a project’s lifecycle.

Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to explore the impact of non-compliance and how to maintain operational efficiency while ensuring environmental protection.

Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to adopt advanced BMP strategies and real-world applications that drive site performance and regulatory success.
