This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 2.0 PDHs for professional engineers, 2.0 non-HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects, and 2.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in most states that allow this learning method. *This course is not approved for New York architects and in states which require HSW coursework for architects; please refer to specific state rules to determine eligibility.

Course Title:  Construction Site Collaboration: Efficiencies in Enforcement and Technology Advancements

Delivery Method: Live Online 

Course Description: This two-hour course explores how technological advancements in the construction industry are improving communication, streamlining enforcement, and supporting compliance efforts. The course focuses on communication and coordination strategies between parties (inspectors, contractors, designers, etc.), enforcement tools, and digital platforms and advancements that empower construction professionals to identify issues, document compliance, and maintain safe work sites.

Learning Objectives: 

Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to describe how agency collaboration improves enforcement outcomes on construction sites.

Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to explore the use of digital inspections, GPS-tagged photos, and other technologies to streamline compliance.

Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to explain how integrated team communication reduces misunderstandings and improves SWPPP execution.

Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to analyze real-world examples of successful enforcement partnerships and the resulting environmental gains.
