This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.0 CLE hours for paralegals in Colorado. Paralegal certification is not required to participate in this course. 

This course has been approved by the National Federation of Paralegal Associations(NFPA) for 6.0 total CLE credits, which includes 5.0 general CLE credits and 1.0 ethics CLE credit. Approval is active for one year from presentation date.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Ms. Harris obtained her paralegal certificate after completing the Legal Studies Program at Illinois State University. After working as a family law paralegal for seven years in Illinois, she moved to Colorado Springs with her spouse, Brian, and joined the Law Office of Greg Quimby, P.C. in May 2019. Although she appreciates her Midwestern roots, she is thrilled to have accomplished her long-term dream of living west of the Mississippi near the mountains. Ms. Harris took the Oath of Admission to practice law as a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional with the first cohort in Colorado in July 2024. She is also an Advanced Certified Paralegal in Dissolution Case Management and Division of Property & Spousal Support through the National Association of Legal Assistants.

Jessica K. Peck

Attorney and Owner Jessica K. Peck, Attorney at Law LLC

An award-winning litigator and crisis communications strategist, Ms. Peck is licensed to practice law before all Colorado state courts, the Federal District Court of Colorado, the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals and before the U.S. Supreme Court. At the core of her practice is protecting the rights and interests of children and parents. To date, she has represented clients in more than 200 contested litigation matters before family courts and juvenile courts across Colorado. She regularly handles adjudication of emergency custody motions and domestic abuse protection (restraining) orders, where allegations can and often do implicate serious family violence, substance abuse, child sex abuse, mental illness and parental incapacitation, and much more. Ms. Peck represents the rights of the accused, as well as the rights of victims. Outside court, she is a certified family law mediator, where she champions amicable resolution of divorce, civil union, common law, and custody cases whenever reasonably possible. In this capacity, clients benefit from her advanced training in financial forecasting and her sustained interest in forensic evaluation of business records and financial disclosures. Stephanie A. Randall

Ms. Randall is a domestic relations attorney and child expert. Her career has been marked by a blend of advocacy, strategic leadership, dedication to legal education, and community service which demonstrates her deep commitment to excellence in legal practice and servant leadership. Ms. Randall’s trial experience is extensive, basic dissolutions to multi-million-dollar estates, high conflict and domestic violence matters, international law issues, and Federal Indian Law. She has served the families of Colorado for over ten years as a Child and Family Investigator. Beginning her journey as an intern for Colorado Legal Services and then as a law clerk for the Denver District Court, Ms. Randall swiftly ascended to significant roles, including CEO of a well-known Colorado firm. Her academic foundation includes a Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law with a certificate in Family Law, a Bachelor of Arts from Milligan University, and an associate degree in Paralegal Studies. A notable aspect of Ms. Randall’s career is her ongoing involvement in Continuing Legal Education presentations on various topics including family law basic skills, child/therapist-patient privilege, domestic violence, protection orders, and child and family investigations. Her community engagement includes participation in various non-profit community boards reflecting her dedication to societal betterment and equal access to justice.
