All attendees must log-on through their own email – attendees may not watch together if they wish to earn continuing education credit. HalfMoon Education Inc. must be able to prove attendance if either the attendee or HalfMoon Education Inc. is audited.
Certificates of completion can be downloaded in PDF form upon passing a short quiz. A link to the quiz will be sent to each qualifying attendee immediately after the webinar. The certificate can be downloaded from the Results page of the quiz upon scoring 80% or higher.

Course Title: All-Electric Residential Buildings
Delivery Method: Live Online
Course Description: This six-hour course discusses the purpose and principles of building electrification, provides and explains codes and standards that promote electrification, and dives deep into all-electric HVAC systems with case studies. The course concludes with a discussion of domestic appliances and options for powering buildings with renewable energy sources.
Learning Objectives:
Learning Objective 1: Learners will be able to explain the principles of building electrification, including carbon impacts, lifecycle analysis, and the costs and benefits of decarbonizing residential buildings.
Learning Objective 2: Learners will be able to interpret how electrification is addressed in the 2024 International Residential Code, International Energy Conservation Code, and applicable local codes and incentives.
Learning Objective 3: Learners will be able to evaluate all-electric HVAC systems and domestic appliances, using energy modeling and case studies to determine appropriate retrofit and new construction solutions.
Learning Objective 4: Learners will be able to analyze strategies for powering all-electric homes with renewable energy, including utility programs, community solar projects, and onsite generation.
