Seeing a login screen? Here’s what to do

If you clicked the link in your on-demand course email and landed on a login page, nothing is wrong. On-demand courses now require you to be logged into your HalfMoon account. This protects your course materials and keeps your purchases tied to you.

You already have an account. HalfMoon created one for you automatically when you were registered for a course, even if you have never logged in. You do not need to create a new account. You only need to set a password.

The account is under the email address your course email was sent to. That email address is your login. If someone else placed the order for you, the course is still in your account, not theirs.

The whole process takes about two minutes. Follow the steps below.

Step 1: Go to the Lost Password page

Open the HalfMoon Lost Password page: halfmoonseminars.org/my-account/lost-password

You can also reach it from the login screen by clicking Lost your password? under the login fields.

Do this even if you have never logged in before. This is how you set a password for the first time.

Step 2: Enter the email address your course email was sent to

Type the email address that received your on-demand course email, check the box next to I’m not a robot, then click Reset Password.

Use that exact address. If you have more than one email address, the account is under the one HalfMoon has been emailing you at.

You will see a message confirming that the reset email has been sent.

Step 3: Check your inbox for the reset email

Within a few minutes you will receive an email from HalfMoon Edu (no reply) with the subject “Password Reset Request for HalfMoon Education, Inc”. Open it and click Click here to reset your password.

If it does not arrive, check your spam or junk folder. If it is still missing after 10 minutes, see the troubleshooting section below.

Step 4: Create your password

Enter a new password of your choosing, enter it again in the second box, check the box next to I’m not a robot, then click Save. Write your password down somewhere safe. You will use it every time you access on-demand courses.

As soon as you save, you are logged in automatically and taken to your account page. No separate login step is needed.

Step 5: Open your course

After setting your password, you should be automatically logged in and on your account page. To find your course:

  1. Click On-Demand in the account menu.
  2. Find your course and click View Recording.

All of your on-demand courses, orders, and invoices are accessible within your account. To get back to this page later, log in at halfmoonseminars.org, click Account in the top-right corner of the website, then click On-Demand.

Shortcut: once you are logged in, the link in your course email will take you straight to the video as long as you open it in the same browser you logged in with.

If something isn’t working

I tried to register and it says an account with this email already exists. That is expected. It means your account is already there. Go to the Lost Password page and set a password instead of registering.

I never got the password reset email. Check spam and junk folders first. Then make sure you entered the exact email address your course email was sent to. A different address, even one you use often, will not find your account. If you still have nothing after 10 minutes, contact us and we will confirm which email is on file.

I have logged in before but forgot my password. Same fix: use the Lost Password page to set a new one.

I logged in but I don’t see my course. Make sure you logged in with the email address your course email was sent to. The course is only in the attendee’s account. If a coworker, assistant, or office manager registered you, the course is in your account under your email, not theirs, and their login will not show it.

I clicked the course link after logging in and hit the login screen again. Your browser did not carry the login over. Log in on the website first, then click the link in your email from the same browser. Or skip the link and go to Account then On-Demand on the website.

The password reset link says it has expired. Reset links only work for a limited time. Go back to the Lost Password page and request a new one.

I need to change the email on my account. Contact us. We can update it for you.
