    Mr. Ward began surveying with his father in 1972 and became the crew chief for an engineering boundary surveying firm in 1984. He was licensed in Colorado in 1989 and in Oklahoma in 2015. Mr. Ward was the lead surveyor for Glenwood Canyon “Hanging Lakes Tunnels”, and I-70 bridge, 1989. In 1990, he was elected Grand County Surveyor which is a role he still has today. He has worked as consultant to the Colorado State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, 1994 to 1998, and has testified to an administrative court judge on behalf of State Board of Registration in several court actions against land surveyors as an expert witness. In addition to this, as a County Surveyor, he was admitted as an expert witness and testified on behalf of Grand County in several lawsuits and admitted as an expert witness in several private surveyor lawsuits. Mr. Ward is currently member of National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) Trig-Star Committee, and he has written all text and coordinated construction of four displays currently at the Four Corners Monument, which describes the history of the survey of the Four Corners Monument, the only place in the U.S. where four States meet, and also where two Indian Reservations meet. Mr. Warren was the recipient of “Key Governor” award for 2010, NSPS and is currently an instructor for PLSC’s “Refresher Course”.

    Mr. Larson is the Richard Morrison Professor of Water Law at Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. He is a faculty fellow in the Center for Law and Global Affairs, and the Center for Law, Science, and Innovation. He is also a senior research fellow with the Kyl Center for Water Policy at ASU’s Morrison Institute for Public Policy. Professor Larson’s research and teaching interests are in property law, administrative law, and environmental and natural resource law, in particular, domestic and international water law and policy. Professor Larson’s research focuses on the impact of technological innovation on water rights regimes, in particularly transboundary waters, and on the sustainability implications of a human right to water. He works on dispute resolution and improved processes in water rights adjudications in Arizona and the Colorado River Basin with the Kyl Center for Water Policy. He is the Principal Investigator on a USAID-funded applied research project improving water supplies for refugee host communities in Lebanon and Jordan. Professor Larson was a visiting professor and Fulbright Scholar at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, a PLuS Alliance visiting fellow with the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, a Lady Davis Fellow and visiting professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the author of Just Add Water: Solving the World’s Problems Using its Most Precious Resource (Oxford University Press, 2020).     This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 3.0 PDHs for professional engineers and surveyors, 3.0 HSW continuing education hours for licensed architects, and 3.0 HSW continuing education hours for landscape architects in all states that allow this learning method.     Founder of Spatial Reality Solutions, Inc.

    Mr. Stamnes is the founder of Spatial Reality Solutions Inc. (SRS), a Saskatoon-based startup specializing in digital transformation and geospatial consulting. With nearly two decades of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Owner, and Operator (AECOO) industries, He has developed a comprehensive expertise in surveying, mapping, laser scanning, lidar, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Mr. Stamnes’s academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management and a Diploma in Geomatics from Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He has further enhanced his knowledge with a Certificate in Unoccupied Aerial Systems (UAS) from the University of Florida and an Advanced Certificate in GIS from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Professionally, he is an Engineering Licensee specializing in Geomatics under the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and holds the Certified Mapping Scientist (CMS) certification in UAS and lidar from the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). Throughout his career, Mr. Stamnes has led large-scale projects, advanced mapping technologies, and diversified client bases. His current research focuses on reality capture, terrestrial laser scanning, scan-to-BIM, and indoor GIS. Beyond his professional endeavors, he resides on an acreage outside of Saskatoon with his family, enjoying activities such as gardening, motorcycling, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing in Northern Saskatchewan.
