Professor Rauf has over 25 years of experience in teaching undergraduate and post graduate engineering, science, math, business administration and MBA courses, seminars, and workshops. Andy Horn, M.Sc., P.G., has almost 30 years of experience providing scientifically-valid and legally-defensible environmental and water resource investigations to public and private entities. Mr. Trinkaus is an internationally recognized expert in the field of low impact development, having presented at many ASCE/EWRI international conferences and many other regional conferences and workshops on LID and water quality issues. He has been an invited presenter and consultant in Taiwan, China, and South Korea. He has also presented on Sustainable Stormwater at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Mr. Trinkaus has written LID design manuals for the Towns of Tolland, Plainville, Harwinton, East Granby, and Morris, Connecticut. He has designed many types of LID treatment systems for a variety of residential and commercial applications. Mr. Trinkaus is chair of the EWRI LID Guidance Document Task Committee and primary author of the Committee’s national guidance document on adopting LID standards. Mr. Trinkaus is a licensed professional engineer in Connecticut and Maryland. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Management in 1980 from the University of New Hampshire. Mr. Agee is the director of Building and Code Enforcement for St. Charles County, Missouri. Previously, he worked in urban and suburban municipal governments managing building code enforcement, facilities, and information technology. Prior to his public sector positions, Mr. Agee worked in the construction industry in design and project management.

He has an undergraduate degree in Architectural and Mechanical Design and a graduate degree in Public Administration and Policy Analysis. As a Master Code Professional, Mr. Agee is one of approximately 800 people to obtain the highest level of certification from the International Code Council. Mr. Mohney is the Engineering Geology Program leader for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The Engineering Geology Program at ODOT encompasses site characterization, subsurface exploration, slopes and embankments, geologic hazards, groundwater, geotechnical instrumentation, and planning and research activities. In this role, he also oversees the Unstable Slopes (landslide/rockfall) Program for ODOT. He is a registered geologist and a certified engineering geologist in Oregon with over 25 years of experience in Oregon and the western states. Dr. Hedayati is a senior geotechnical engineer at Freese and Nichols, Inc and an adjunct faculty at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her experience with geotechnical engineering includes subsurface investigations, foundation analysis and design, slope stability and seepage analysis, numerical modeling, dam rehabilitation and redesign, levees, floodwalls and drainage structures design. As an adjunct faculty, she teaches courses on computational geotechnics and the geotechnical aspects of landfill design. Mr. McKelvey is the director of the Geotechnical Design Division at Earth Engineering Inc. in East Norriton, Pennsylvania. He is a registered professional engineer (P.E.) in California, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Mr. McKelvey is also a Diplomate (D.GE) of the Academy of Geo-Professionals and a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (F.ASCE).

Mr. McKelvey has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering including site assessment and field investigations, deep and shallow foundation design for buildings, bridges, and other structures, retaining wall design, embankment stability, mechanically stabilized soil structures, and subsurface hydrology.

He also has significant experience in mitigating heavy construction claims and in litigation support pertaining to impacted heavy construction projects. Mr. McKelvey has also handled construction support and construction quality assurance projects. His environmental engineering experience includes technical contributions to the remediation of many Superfund sites and over 50 landfill design projects.

Mr. McKelvey has published over 30 technical papers in journals, conference proceedings and trade magazines. He is the past chair for the Delaware Valley Geo-Institute (DVGI) and is a voting member in ASTM committees Soil and Rock (D18), and Geosynthetics (D35). He is an editorial board member of the Geotechnical Testing Journal. Mr. McKelvey also serves on two Geo-Institute committees: Earth Structures and Embankments and Dams. For the latter, he is a member of the subcommittee on landslide risk assessment.

Mr. White has over 20 years of experience in engineering, ranging from compliance and industrial wastewater and air treatment system evaluations to remedial study/design projects. Mr. White works with clients across a variety of industries, including iron and steel, utilities, specialty chemicals, food and food additive processing, and petroleum refining. He has particular expertise in industrial wastewater and stormwater regulatory review and implementation support under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program. Mr. White earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and an M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Woodman graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He spent the first 10 years as design and project engineer for a private engineering consulting firm, gaining experience and expanding his knowledge of the industry on a wide variety of civil and stormwater engineering design projects for private and public sector clients throughout New England. In 2014 Mr. Woodman took an opportunity to leverage his expertise in innovative stormwater and green infrastructure treatment systems and transitioned from consulting to the product, solution and innovation side of the industry. Mr. Woodman now serves Ferguson Enterprises as the director of Engineering and Green Stormwater Infrastructure and supports engineers, landscape architects and designers on site development and green infrastructure systems overcoming design and permitting challenges with a suite of innovative solutions. Mr. Roy is a licensed professional engineer in 17 states and the District of Columbia and has managed projects primarily throughout the Northeast but also along the entire eastern coast of the United States for over 26 years. As vice president, Mr. Roy manages offices in Southborough, MA, Rocky Hill, CT, Rochester, NY, and Bedford NH. Mr. Roy has extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and inspection, and environmental services. Mr. Strong’s experience has stretched across many areas of litigation, including construction and design defect claims. He has represented professionals including architects and structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil engineers in disputes involving large-scale multi-family, mixed-use, commercial, and residential projects throughout North Carolina. Mr. Strong received his bachelor of science degree from Appalachian State University and went on to earn his juris doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. Mr. Anderson has 23 years of experience as a both a landscape architect and environmental manager. Starting his career with UDOT, he was first introduced to stormwater management on the Provo Canyon expansion project in 1998. UDOT was being sued and Mr. Anderson was designated as the compliance officer for the environmental impacts resulting from the project. That project propelled him into developing the environmental control supervisors course required by UDOT for all contractors working on state or federally funded projects. Joining PEC in 2006, Mr. Anderson has continued to teach and consult in storm water management. In 2015 PEC developed the low-impact development standards for Spanish Fork City, the first City in Utah to develop such standards. Ms. Eierman is an environmental horticulturist and ecological landscape designer specializing in native plants. Based in New York, Ms. Eierman teaches at the New York Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Native Plant Center, School and several other institutions. She is an active speaker nationwide on many ecological landscape topics.
