Continuing Education Information
This webinar is open to the public and is designed to qualify for 6.0 CLE hours, including 1.0 ethics hour, for paralegals in Washington state. Paralegal certification is not required to participate in this course.
The National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) has approved this course for 6.5 total CLE credits, which includes 5.5 general CLE credits and 1.0 ethics CLE credit.
Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the webinar for those who attend the entire course and score a minimum 80% on the quiz that follows the course (multiple attempts allowed).

Speakers
Allison R. Foreman, J.D., LL.M.
Ms. Foreman is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Law School, and the University of Washington School of Law, where she earned an advanced degree in tax law while building her practice. Her practice focuses on tax and estate planning for individuals, families and businesses, business advising, guardianships, and estate and trust administration and litigation. Ms. Foreman serves on the boards of Tree Top, Inc. and the Harvard Club of Seattle, as well as the Estate and Gift Tax Committee of the WSBA Taxation Section. She is a member of the WSBA Small Town and Rural Committee, which seeks to strengthen and support the practice of law in the rural communities throughout Washington, and the WSBA Editorial Advisory Committee, which publishes the Bar News. Ms. Foreman is a past President of the Chelan-Douglas County Bar Association and a longtime volunteer for both Chelan-Douglas County Volunteer Attorney Services and the Harvard Alumni Association.
Daniel Kim, J.D., LL.M.
Attorney with Reed Longyear Malnati Corwin & Burnett, PLLC, in Seattle, WAMr. Kim focuses his practice on estate planning and probate, guiding clients through some of life’s most important and personal decisions. Mr. Kim works closely with individuals and families to develop customized estate plans that reflect their values and goals—whether that involves providing for future generations, minimizing tax liability, supporting charitable causes, or protecting minor children. He discovered his passion for estate planning and tax law while attending Seattle University School of Law. To build on this interest, Mr. Kim earned an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, where he completed advanced coursework in international estate planning and the tax treatment of charitable giving
Julie Olds, J.D., LL.M.
Solo Practitioner, in Spokane, WAThe focus of Ms. Olds’ practice is meeting the needs of the individual whether it is though designing an estate plan, assisting with a probate or establishing a small business or not for profit. Ms. Olds is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Spokane County Bar Association, and Spokane Estate Planning Council. She has served on the boards of over fifteen different not for profits and foundations within our community. Ms. Olds is a frequent lecturer on estate planning and probate for local professional associations and for educational seminars providing continuing education for attorneys, paralegals, accountants, and CFP’s. She qualified for her CPA license in 1990 and is presently a CPA Inactive. She received a BA in Accounting from the University of Washington and graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law. She went on to obtain an LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida School of Law.
