Christie Bryant
Owner of Speaking for the Trees Arborist ConsultingMs. Bryant is the owner of Speaking for the Trees arborist consulting and has a long history in the green industry, from landscape to tree work. She is currently president of the Women Arborists of the Southeast, past president of the Georgia Arborists Association (GAA) and current ISA Liaison for the Georgia Chapter. Ms. Bryant’s work focuses on preparing developers, engineers, and other site planners to accommodate trees on their lots and developing creative solutions to SAVE trees where possible. She has been awarded the GAA Arborist of the Year award, the Tree Climbing Championship Award, and the President’s Award for her outstanding service and commitment to outreach, education, and safety in the industry. Ms. Bryant is an avid traveler and loves to report on the world’s trees on her TikTok page, Speaking for the Trees.
Kay Evanovich
Arborist for the City of Decatur, GeorgiaMs. Evanovich is currently the City of Decatur Georgia arborist and has held an International Society of Arboriculture Certification (I.S.A.) as an Arborist since 2002. Ms. Evanovich holds a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and a Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification as well. She has taken numerous courses of study in environmental issues and tree/forest health through the University of Georgia, Center for Continuing Education and the Warnell School of Forestry beginning in 1999. As a municipal and consulting Arborist, Ms. Evanovich has been performing tree health assessments, tree valuations, reviewing plans and permits for the public since 2005. She is on the Executive Board of Directors of the Georgia Arborists Association (GAA) as the treasurer and teaches the Certified Arborists training course for the GAA. Ms. Evanovich received the Community Impact award in 2020 and the Arborist of the year award for 2023. She is an avid soccer fan and enjoys watching games with family and friends.
Logan House, CMA
President of the Georgia Arborist Association Peachtree ArboristsMr. House is a Board-Certified Master Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, and is president of the Georgia Arborist Association. He currently works as an arborist for the City of Decatur, Georgia. After attending the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia, he worked for the Fish and Wildlife Service, the Forestry Commission, and several private tree companies in various roles. In addition to educational programming about trees, Mr. House has conducted many more natural resource education courses including with reptiles and amphibians and for recycling and water conservation programs. He was awarded the White Oak Award for leadership, commitment and impact in tree work by the Arborist Association in 2022. Mr. House is an avid quilter, gardener, and an extremely novice cyclist.
